WELCOME!

The Humanitarian Society of Cozumel, Mexico, has been working non-stop helping animals in our community since the nineties. Our clinic / shelter opened its doors in April 1996, with two rooms, without electricity, 24 cubicles for dogs, a veterinarian and a worker.

Currently, we have a full-time staff of 14, and we host around 30 dogs and 50 or more cats at certain times. We receive an average of 40 animals per month, rescued them from the street or abandoned by their owners for multiple reasons. We do our best to take care of them and place them in good and loving homes.
