WEBSITE! It is going through various updates and modifications so please be patient. It should be up and running in a week or so.
CIEMA Administrative Director and volunteer with HSC, Cindy Smith (and her volunteers), have been taking dogs to the International Pier every day that there are ships docked there. It has been a glorious window from where to show our animals and several have already been adopted and sent to their new homes. With this success and to be able to finalize every adoption, we are always looking for people willing to escort these lucky ones to their new homes. So if you would like to help by being an escort, please let us know when and where you fly back to the USA or Canada. It really is an easy way to save a dog's life and make a family happy. All you have to do is have the pet on your flight and deliver it to his/her new family at the airport of destination. KITTY (the dog in the photo attached) is an example of success! A girl from las Vegas, Diane Gordon, fell in love with Kitty at the pier. We corresponded via email to follow adoption procedures and realized that Diane was an excellent adopter for Kitty. She was so happy when we told her she could have her! Cozumel veterinarian Minerva will be kind enough to escort Kitty to Vegas next week! Isn't that an easy happy ending?
Thank you as always for your support,
