How do I get to the shelter?
If you are coming from town, the best way is heading south on the water front street, known as the Malecon, you turn LEFT at the set of lights just before the Malecon turns into the highway headed south. (reference points: international pier on your right, pemex gas station and 7-11 just past the lights). After making this left, travel 3/4 km and you will see a big sign for the Humane Society, turn RIGHT, drive 50 yards and turn right at the soccer field, there is a little sign for the HS to guide you. Come to the end of the soccer field and another small sign will show you to turn left. 20 yards further on the left is the Humane Society.
